Fishing at Bachalpsee
The Bachalpsee, a picturesque mountain lake in Grindelwald, offers a unique backdrop for keen anglers and can be reached within an hour from the Firstbahn mountain station. The season runs from June 15 to October 31.
A special fishing permit is required for fishing at Bachalpsee. This permit can be purchased at the Grindelwald Tourism counter for either one day (CHF 30) or four days (CHF 100).
Each catch must be recorded with species and length in the catch statistics and deposited in the letterbox at the end of the fishing day at the lake shelter. A maximum of 4 fish with a minimum length of 27 cm may be caught per day for all species.
